Profile of Kenebowe Ergonomics

Joel Kendall created Direct Position Inc., and Kenebowe Ergonomics in 1992 for the purpose of helping people and organizations achieve a safe and healthy workplace. He has provided on-site ergonomics support for Time Warner Corporate headquarters, Turner Broadcasting, Warner Media CNN, and Time Inc. for over 20 years. He has worked with businesses and agencies as varied as Hachette Book Group, Oxford University Press, The Federal Home Loan Bank, The Bond Market Association, Workers Compensation Reinsurance Bureau, New York City Department of Health, The Center for Arts Education, the provincial government of Parana, Brazil, and the Fundacao Cultural, Curitiba, Brazil, among others.

Mr. Kendall has periodically been a guest teacher for West Point's Department of Ergonomics where he has taught West Point Cadets the rudiments of the Kenebowe Ergonomics approach to Workplace Safety and Health.

He has taught and researched fine motor coordination and spinal alignment for over 30 years. Kenebowe Ergonomics training is a one-of-a-kind, uniquely effective combination of his information and expertise integrated with OSHA's guidelines for the correct placement of workstation equipment.

He is a certified OSHA Safety and Health Specialist in General Industry, and a former OSHA authorized Industry Outreach Trainer who now specializes in Computer Workstation Safety and Health.
